A huge colourful rally was organized by the Barishal Sadar Upazila BNP on the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). The rally started from the city's party office (Town Hall) on Wednesday and circled the main roads of the city.
Former MP from Barishal-5 constituency Advocate Mujibur Rahman Sarwar was present as the chief guest at the rally presided over by Barisal Sadar Upazila BNP convener Alhaj Nurul Amin.
The program, held in the presence of leaders and activists from various levels of the organization's district and upazila, was also attended by Sadar Upazila BNP member secretary Saiful Islam Abbas, former upazila chairman Alhaj Azizul Haque Akkas, joint convener Harun Or Rashid, joint convener Mamun Sardar Gani, joint convener Dr. Fazlu, joint convener Haque Sikder, joint convener Advocate Moklesh, joint convener Tuhin Pandit, joint convener Abdul Jabbar Sikder and joint convener Babul Khandaker.
The BNP founding anniversary celebrations concluded with a short gathering at the end of the rally.
