BNP sowed country's development: State Minister for Foreign Affairs

Faridpur-2 MP and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid Islam has said that the BNP has sown the seeds of the country's development.
He made this statement while addressing the chief guest at a program organized to mark the 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on the bypass road of Saltha Upazila of Faridpur on Tuesday afternoon.
The State Minister for Foreign Affairs said, BNP has been working for the country's democracy, human rights and development for a long time. BNP has sown the seeds that form the foundation of the country's development. BNP will continue to work for the welfare of the people of the country in the future as well.
The program was presided over by former Saltha Upazila BNP president Siddiqur Rahman Talukder. District BNP convener Syed Mudares Ali Icha, former Nagarkanda Upazila BNP president Habibur Rahman Babul Talukder, former Nagarkanda Upazila BNP general secretary Saifur Rahman Mukul, and leaders and activists from various levels of the Upazila BNP and its affiliates were present as special guests.
During this time, speakers highlighted the history of BNP's establishment, the party's political activities and the party's role in the country's democratic movement. Later, various programs were held to mark the founding anniversary.
