BRUR appoints director of student counseling, guidance office, provost of 3 halls

Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur has appointed Associate Professor Md. Masud Rana, Department of Management Studies as Director of Student Counseling and Guidance Office, Associate Professor Dr. Md. Harun-al-Rashid, Department of Chemistry as Provost of Bijoy 24 Hall, Associate Professor Dr. Mohsina Ahsan, Department of English as Provost of Shaheed Felani Hall, and Associate Professor Dr. A. T. M. Jinnatul Bashar, Department of Disaster Science and Management as Provost of Shaheed Mukhtar Elahi Hall.
The appointment has come into effect from 19 September 2026. Separate office orders signed by the Registrar were issued with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali, to assign this responsibility.
