Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET), has achieved the prestigious title of Champion at the HTA Exhibition of the IEEE International Conference on Robotics, Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (RAAICON) 2026.

The closing ceremony was held on Saturday at the gallery of the Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose Academic Building of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). Competing against a total of 32 teams from different universities across the country, Team ResiliX secured this remarkable achievement.

Team ResiliX consists of three students from the 18th Batch of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), BAUET: Saiyedul Abrar, K. M. Shafayat Shapnil, and Shahriar Rashid. Their project, titled “FloodGuard Insight: Spatiotemporal Flood Impact and Resources Optimization,” is an artificial intelligence-based initiative designed to analyze the spatial and temporal impacts of floods and provide effective solutions for the optimal utilization of resources during disasters.

On this glorious achievement, the Vice Chancellor of BAUET, Brigadier General S M Lutfor Rahman, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all members of Team ResiliX. He highly appreciated the students’ talent, innovative thinking, technological expertise, dedication, and hard work.

The Vice Chancellor said, “Such achievements by our students are a matter of immense pride for BAUET. The success of Team ResiliX is a shining example of the competence and capability demonstrated by BAUET students in research, innovation, and technology-driven problem-solving.”

He expressed his optimism that the success of Team ResiliX would inspire other BAUET students to become more actively involved in research and innovative activities.
