Breastfeeding Week celebrated in Sundarganj

A discussion meeting was held in Sundarganj, Gaibandha, on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week 2026, under the chairmanship of Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Kamrul Hasan at the Upazila Health Complex Hallroom.
On Saturday, a public health organization organized a talk moderated by RMO Dr. Atiar Rahman, and addressed by Medical Officer Dr. Farhana Binte Farooq, Medical Officer Dr. Muhammad Solaiman, Ward In-charge Alpana Khatun, Midwife Sampa Moni, and journalists Khizir Uddin and Mosharraf Hossain.
The speakers emphasized the importance of breastfeeding after the birth of a child and asked mothers to be more aware of this issue because breast milk contains the most nutrients.
