BNP leader Engn Shahrin Islsm Tuhin accorded public reception in Jaldhaka

Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, nephew of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, returned to his homeland after 18 years and was given a huge public reception in Jaldhaka, Nilphamari on the occasion of his return to his homeland and release from prison.
The public meeting and public reception organized by the Upazila and Municipal BNP was held on Monday afternoon at the Jaldhaka Government Model Pilot High School ground.
Earlier, people filled the corners of the city with processions of leaders and activists. Engineer Shahrin Islam Chowdhury Tuhin, nephew of Begum Khaleda Zia, former MP of Nilphamari 1 constituency and former Ptesident of the district BNP, was the chief guest at the event.
At that time, he said, the fascist Sheikh Hasina
government has taken away equality through discriminatory behavior, they have taken away the human dignity and rights of the people of the country. They have deprived people of social justice. The people of Bengal have
bid farewell to this fascist regime through a joint movement of all opposition parties including BNP in exchange for hundreds of lives in a long 16-year movement. He said, many of our leaders and activists have been
murdered, disappeared and killed. In the mass uprising of 24, the unarmed students and people of this country gave their lives standing in front of the firearms, bullets and tanks of the government forces. In exchange for their sacrifice, freedom of speech has come today. A one-party regime was established in this country in 1972-75.
At that time, extrajudicial killings and democracy were killed by strangulation. However, martyred President
Ziaur Rahman introduced multi-party democracy after 1975. He gave equal opportunities to all parties in
politics.
After the formation of BNP by martyred President Ziaur Rahman, Begum Khaleda Zia traveled to every upazila of the country, including Nilphamari district, from 1981 to 1991 and organized BNP well. She devoted her life thinking about the people of the country but never compromised. She also said that they have cheated the people of this country again and again. And today they are defaming the name of BNP. However, we have to bev careful. She said that after coming to the country, I spoke to the engineering community. They are interested in working in Nilphamari district. I will work with the information technology experts of this area. I want to work for human resource development. One of our main goals is to make Nilphamari illiterate. We will work with that goal so that at least one person from every family can obtain a bachelor's degree. Illegal work cannot be done.
We have to build a drug-free area. Hindus, Buddhists, Christians - we are all brothers in this area.
Martyred President Ziaur Rahman had the opportunity to govern the country for only four years after 1975. At that time, he remained immortal to the countrymen even after his death for all the work he did for the welfare of the country. After that, Begum Khaleda Zia took the country forward. She never compromised with injustice.
.She never left the country thinking about the people of the country. Even though her son Tarique Rahman went into exile, there was a conspiracy against him. He lost his brother, his mother had to go to jail, yet he did not give up.
Under her leadership, BNP is still well organized.
