
Orientation, training of National Journalists Association held in Morelganj

An orientation and training workshop for journalists was held on Monday at the Morelganj Upazila Agricultural Training Institute in Bagerhat, organized by the Morelganj Upazila branch of the Bangladesh National Journalists Association.
The program was presided over by the branch president, M.A. Jalil, and conducted by General Secretary Md. Nazmul. The chief guest was the Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land), Md. Badruddoza.
Special guests included the central president of the association, Md. Mominur Rashid Shine, Secretary General Muhammad Kamrul Islam, and Central Joint Secretary Lion Sikder Mohammad Ariful Alam Tito, who joined virtually.
Other notable attendees were advisor and founding member Md. Shahjahan Molla, advisor Md. Alomgir Goni, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Saiful Islam, and President of the Upazila Press Club, Shahidul Islam, among other distinguished leaders.
The training workshop covered topics such as journalistic ethics, fact-checking, digital security, and various aspects of modern journalism. Certificates were distributed among the participants at the end of the program.
