BNP dissolved committees in 15 thanas, 43 wards in Ctg

In a move to reorganize its grassroots structure, the BNP's Chattogram Metropolitan Committee has dissolved 15 thana and 43 ward committees.
The announcement was made by Metropolitan BNP Convener Ershad Ullah at a press conference held in Lalkhan Bazar on Tuesdat morning.
Ershad Ullah stated that the expired committees have been dissolved to pave the way for the formation of new ones comprising dedicated and proven leaders and activists.
The press conference also addressed the recent attack on Bangladesh High Commission in India and the desecration of the national flag. Condemning the incidents, the leaders asserted, “Bangladesh is a sovereign state. Any attack on its sovereignty or conspiracies to destabilize the nation will not be tolerated.”
Metropolitan BNP Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman announced a protest rally to be held at 3 PM today in response to the incident.
