Md. Abdul Halim, Principal of Dr. Shamsul Karim (SK Bakar) College of Dumuria and Haridas Mandal, former president of the college managing committee are allegedly involved in long-term irregularities, corruption, and lextortion through recruitment business.

Tanveer, a resident of Shahpur village,writtenly complained about them to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer recently.

According to sources, Principal of Dr. Shamsul Karim Bakar College Md. Abdul Halim and the former president of the college's management committee Haridas Mondal have embezzled huge money by hiring many teachers and employees.

According to the written complaint, the Bakar College authorities issued notices in local and national newspapers for several posts including cleaning staff.

Accordingly the complainant Tanveer applied for the post of cleaner. On 3/10/2022, got an interview card signed by Md. Abdul Halim, principal of the college and attended the exam. After passing the exam, on 19/10/2022, signed by Haridas Mondal, the former president of the college management council, Swarak No. Graduation.Complainant Tanveer joined the college as a cleaner on 20/10/22 after receiving an appointment.

However, before joining the story of winning a state, Tanveer should be allowed to join the said position, otherwise he will lose the golden deer called Chakuri, the principal of the college Md. Abdul Halim and the former president of the management council, Haridas Mondal, demanded a large amount of money. In such a situation, the dreamer father of Tanveer, a day laborer, sold half of the land of the house and handed over 3 lakh 60 thousand rupees to them to get his son's job. It is mentioned in the complaint that local residents Mehdi Hasan Billal, Mizanur Rahman Sardar, Abdus Sabur Gazi were present during the money transaction.

Complainant Tanveer told Pratabed, College principal Abdul Halim and former president Haridas Mondal cheated me by giving false assurances. They told me that they have permission to teach graduate class and that is far from MPO. I have been working without salary for one and a half years from the date of joining the college. As my family is not wealthy, I am not willing to perform my duties in that college without salary. I have filed a written complaint to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer family to prevent my rightful rights and limitless corruption of the college, recruitment and trade, surely UNO sir will take proper action subject to investigation.

Abdul Halim, Principal of the college said , he complained that if UNO sir calls, many people say many things in the complaint letter or if I receive a letter from the UNO office, I will talk in the interview. However, the college's graduation class approval process is ongoing.

Haridas Mandal, the former president of the board of directors, said, "I have no money and I don't have any." I don't have any money from anyone, they are lying. If the authorities call, we will talk there subject to proof. But now Tanveer is not coming to college. However, the written complaint he made to UNO is not true.

Claiming to have received a written complaint, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Al-Amin said, if irregularities are found after investigation, necessary measures will be taken.
