With the motto 'Read more books-build an ideal life' Maulana Ali Ahmed library was inaugurated at Mobin Chairman's house in Dhanuakhla Adarsh village of Kalir Bazar Union of Cumilla Adarsh Sadar Upazila on Tuesday afternoon.

Maulana Ali Ahmed was the President of Panchayat Committee and Union Parishad for more than four decades. He was the founder of Dhanuakhola Digra Madrasah and leader of multifaceted development. Remembering his memory, the fourth generation enlightened child of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology, Chairman of the Department of Management Studies Professor Dr. Md. Mujahidul Islam laid the foundation of the library.

The founding president of the library, Professor Dr. Mujahidul Islam said there is no alternative to reading books to enlighten the society. It's not just the traditional library. A multifaceted project to advance the society'.

The main discussant for times national award winning environmentalist Professor Matin Saikat AIP said 'acquiring knowledge is essential. Books are vehicles of knowledge. Book size library. Book aversion is making us savages.

We must read books for the excellence of knowledge science literature culture. For not reading books, we have to pay the price from personal life to national and international level. Don't be limited to syllabus or text book. One must wander in the infinite ocean of knowledge. In order to become a modern, smart and competent citizen of the world, books must be a life partner. The program was presided over by Assistant Professor Maulana Md. Maqbool Ahmed. Md. Hafez Ahmed, son of late Ali Ahmed, was the chief guest.
