Bagerhat Sanak organizes two-day Information Fair

A two-day Information Fair has started in Bagerhat with the theme of 'Right to Information, Commitment to Good Governance'.
Organized by the District Citizens' Awareness Committee Sanak in collaboration with the Bagerhat District Administration, the information fair was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Kamrul Hasan at the city's Swadhinata Udyan on Tuesday morning. Citizens can learn about their services and the Right to Information Act from 26 government and private stalls at the district level at the information fair.
Bagerhat District Citizens' Awareness Committee Sanak President Advocate Ramakrishna Basu presided over the inaugural ceremony of the information fair. Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Kamrul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Asaduzzaman, Deputy Director of District Information Office Myunul Islam, Khulna TIB Officer Firoz Uddin, Upazila Health Officer Pradeep Kumar Baksi, Member Secretary of Bagerhat District Non-Governmental Organizations Association Advocate Mosharraf Hossain Montu, President of Bagerhat Press Club Md. Kamruzzaman, Convener of Information Fair Advocate Md. Shah Alam Tuku and others. After the program, the guests visited various stalls.
At the closing ceremony of the information fair on Wednesday at 3 pm, the activities of various government and private departments will be presented, anti-corruption video will be shown, question and answer session, quiz and prizes will be distributed among the winners of the friendly debate competition.
