7-year old Sunanda will sit in seat of 'Kumari '

Kumari Puja is held in Narayanganj every year on the Maha Ashtami of Autumn Durgotsava in a joyful atmosphere. Kumari puja is organized in various puja mandapams of the city. Among them, Kumari Puja was organized with great enthusiasm at Chashara Ramakrishna Mission Ashram.
Offerings will be made to Goddess Durga in the form of a virgin, following religious rituals in a grand manner, with conch shells, bells and uludbhani, at around 10:30 am today, Friday (October 11). Many will participate from far and wide.
This year, 7-year-old Sunanda Chakraborty will sit in the seat of the Kumari in the Kumari Puja organized at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Chashara Missionpara of the city. He will be worshiped in the goddess Durga idol.
Sunanda Chakraborty is a child class student of Narayanganj High School, Nawab Sirajdaulla Road. Sunanda is the daughter of Sanjay Chakraborty and Deepanvita Chakraborty of Bangshal Road in the city.
