3 more detained in connection with violence in Rangamati

Pahari-Bengali clashes took place in Rangamati due to the killing of a young man named Mamun in Khagrachari. A young man named Anik was beaten to death during the clash.
After this incident, two cases of arson, vandalism and murder were registered at Rangamati Kotwali police station. After the case, the police launched an operation to nab the culprits.
