18th Academic Council meeting of BAIUST held

The 18th Academic Council meeting of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) was held on Wednesday in the conference room of the university.
Various important decisions related to the academic affairs of the university were taken in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Brigadier General Md. Kamal Uddin Kamal, ndc, psc, Vice Chancellor of BAIUST.
The meeting was attended by Academic Council members Prof Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin, CSE Department of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Prof Dr. Md. Zahir Bin Alam, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Prof Dr. Biswajit Chandra Deb, Accounting and Information Systems Department of Comilla University, Dean of the School of Law Faculty of Southeast University, Prof Dr. Farhana Helal Mehtab, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities of the university, Prof Dr. Rama Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Professor Dr. Md. Tahidur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Associate Prof Golam Muktader Naeem, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Associate Prof Dr. Mahbubur Rahman and various department heads. University Registrar Lt. Col. Khandaker Mahmud Hossain, SPP, PSC (Retd) served as the member secretary in the meeting.
