Reasons unknown : 252 trainee OCs at BPA losing their jobs

At list 252 'Outside Cadets (OCs) who are doing basic training at the Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) are losing their jobs.

No one expressed interest in talking to reporters on relevant issues. Rather, the senior official of BPA does not to give a correct explanation.

Bangladesh Police Academy Sardha, the closing parade of the 40th BCS Police was scheduled to take place on October 20. Home Affairs Adviser Lt General (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury but it was inevitably postponed.

However, on Sunday, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) had an exchange of views with the district journalists. At that time, Home Affairs Advisor did not give any answer about the BPA to the questions of reporters.

In this regard, various print and electronic journalists of Rajshahi went to meet the senior officials of BPA on Wednesday afternoon. But all the journalists returned from the main gate of BPA.
Bangladesh Police Training Center (PTC) was established in Sarda, Rajshahi in 1912. Recently it is known as Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA).

This institution has a good reputation in Bangladesh as well as in the Asian continent. In this institution, BCS Police, SI and Sergeant of Bangladesh Police Force are engaged in maintaining law and order in different districts of the country with basic training.

During the collection of information about the loss of SI jobs of Samprati BPA, it is known through various people of Charghat upazila and Sarada adjacent areas, that the League supporters are losing their jobs. Those SAIs who are losing their jobs are recruited during the League government and undergo training in BPA. A few days later, their final parade will be held. But suddenly they were given 5 days leaved. They will soon be dismissed from the job after knowing each other about the incident. Incidentally, some information has been confirmed through the worker (boy) of the trainees.

BPA Principal and Additional IGP of Police. Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan said that this time, 704 people participated in the basic training for one year in Sarda as the finally selected candidates 'Outside Cadet' (OC).

After this passing out, the SIs who has received basic training are sent for field work in various police units. After completing one year there, their jobs are made permanent. The BPA Principal said that the process of 'discharging' 252 police officers of the rank of Sub-Inspector (SI) is going on gradually due to indiscipline during training.
