Farmers gathering, distribution of tree saplings in Kamalganj

In the progress of sustainable agriculture, farmers' assembly and tree saplings have been distributed in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar.
On Tuesday afternoon, the rally was held in the Nainarpar area of Adampur Union of the upazila, organized by Agrosale Limited, with the participation of hundreds of farmers.
Farmer Golam Rasul Oli presided over the rally Upazila Agriculture Officer Jayant Kumar Roy was the chief guest.
Agriculturist Wares Hossain Rocky was present as a special guest in it. Chief Operating Officer of Agrosale Limited Md. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, National Sales Manager Agriculturist Mohsin Imam, Assistant Manager Agriculturist Saiful Islam, Area Manager Wares Ali, Nainarpar Bazaar Traders Welfare Association President Mojahidul Islam, Farmer Abdul Matin, Teacher Bhuban Mohan Singh.
After the ceremony, five hundred herb, forest and fruit tree seedlings were distributed among the farmers through Urmi Taru project.
Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, chief operating officer of Agrosale Limited, said that a plan has been taken to distribute 50,000 tree saplings across the country this year to protect the balance of the environment.
Apart from selling Agrosale's mulching film to farmers at low cost.
The used mulching film will be purchased from the farmers at a fixed price and recycled.
