Journalist Welfare Fund formed at Lalmohan Press Club

A 'Journalism Welfare Fund' has been constituted for the journalists of Bhola Lalmohan Press Club on Sunday.
This fund was established at the annual general meeting of the press club on Saturday night at the initiative of executive member and MP of Bhola-3 Constituency Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon.
On the first day, a total of Tk 2 lakh 35 thousand was deposited in the Journalist Welfare Fund, including Tk 1 lakh of MP Shaon. Financial assistance will be provided from this fund for various problems and accidents of journalists.
It is also decided to award Lalmohan Journalists of the Year Media Awards every year in some categories.
