Coordinating meeting on vaccination campaign to prevent cervical cancer held in Koyra

An upazila level coordination meeting was held on HPV vaccination campaign to prevent cervical cancer under the expanded immunization program in Koyra.
Upazila Health Administration organized this coordination meeting at 11 o'clock on Monday in the Conference Room of Upazila Parishad.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Ruli Biswas and Health Inspector Md. Shafiqul Islam, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Mo. Rezaul Karim, Koyra Thana Officer in-charge (Investigation) Md. Shah Alam, Family Planning Officer Dr. Shubhra, Upazila Education Officer spoke at the meeting on this occasion.
Tapan Kumar Barman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Shariful Islam, Acting Principal of Ghugrakati Fazil Madrasa Maulana Sujauddin, Headmaster of Bhagba HB Secondary School Md. Amir Ali, Madinabad Madhyapara Government Primary School Assistant Teacher Mustafa Jamal Uddin, Students' Representative Golam Rabbani and others were present.
It was informed in the meeting that vaccination will be given at the school level from October 24 to November 7 and at the community level from November 9 to November 21. All children aged 10 to 14 can receive the HPV vaccine free of charg.
