Two shopkeepers fined for selling products at high prices in Sirajganj

A mobile court fined two shopkeepers for selling products at high prices in Sirajganj on Monday.
The fine was imposed by raiding the city's Big Bazaar and Baniaptri areas.
Assistant Director (Additional Charge) Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection Sirajganj.Mahmud Hasan Roni said, in the operation of the special task force of the Ministry of Commerce, the Satta egg seller was fined 8 thousand taka for not keeping the sales vouchers in the big market and the price of eggs was higher than the government fixed price and the Ganesh rice seller was fined 4 thousand taka for not writing the price on the sack of rice in Baniyaptri.
This official said that the supervisory activities of the National Consumer Rights Protection Directorate will continue in the public interest.
