Bright Life Volunteers gift trees to students, farmers and workers in remote villages

Bright Life Volunteers, a non-political voluntary organization, has launched a tree distribution program in Durgapur, Rajshahi to protect the balance of the environment and create a livable world for future generations.
The organization is mainly comprised of graduate nurses and student nurses.
300 students, farmers and workers in Kanpara Chuniapara area of Durgapur upazila were gifted saplings of various species on Sunday . The organization also planted trees in the premises of Chuniapara Government Primary School.
Rajshahi District Police Additional Superintendent of Police (Puthia-Durgapur Circle) Kudrat-e-Khuda Shuvo was present as the chief guest at the event. Md. Amanullah Aman, founding president of Bright Life Volunteers, presided over the event.
Durgapur Police Station OC Durul Hoda, (Investigation) Rafiqul Islam were present as special guests. NCP Rajshahi District Joint Coordinator Ataur Rahman, member Rakibul Islam, Rajshahi District Joint Convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Moklesur Rahman Bijoy, Bright Life Volunteers Senior Member Shah Sohanur Rahman, Raihan and other local dignitaries were also present.
Various fruit and herbal plants, including jackfruit, jam, guava, pomegranate, amalaki, and olive, were distributed and planted in this program.
The chief guest at the event, Additional Superintendent of Police Qudrat-e-Khuda Shuvo, said,
"Trees give us oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, provide fruits and wood—they are our best friends in every way. This initiative by Bright Life Volunteers is commendable. We can continue this trend through individual initiatives as well."
Amanullah Aman, founding president of Bright Life Volunteers, said,
"To protect the environment and build a livable world, each of us needs to plant more trees. I want to spread the tree planting movement across the country."
