A discussion and prayer mahfil was organized by BNP and its affiliated organizations in Basail Union Ward 2, Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj, in memory of the martyrs of the July-August mass uprising and to implement the 31-point plan for state repair announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

The discussion and prayer mahfil was organized at the Patharghata ground of Basail Union in the upazila on Friday, at around 4 pm, under the chairmanship of Basail Union Ward 2 BNP President Md. Aman Khan and moderated by General Secretary Md. Tapan Hossain. After the prayers and munajat, Tobarak was distributed.

Sheikh Md. Abdullah, member number 1 of Munshiganj District BNP and president of Sirajdikhan Upazila BNP, was present as the chief guest at the event.

Upazila BNP General Secretary M. Haider Ali spoke as the main speaker.

Munshiganj District BNP Convener Moazzem Hossain Babul, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Haji Aminuddin Chowdhury, Joint Organizing Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam Farhad, Office Secretary (Joint Secretary rank) Md. Ahidul Islam Ahid, were present as special guests.

Basail Union BNP President Md. Manish Uddin, General Secretary KM Shah-Zaman, Senior Vice President Haji Iazuddin, Md. Nasir Uddin Bhuiyan, Baluchar Union BNP Convener Abdul Latib, Member Secretary, Haji Abul Hossain, Joint Convener Said Hossain, Munshiganj District Volunteer Party General Secretary Md. Siddiq Molla, Munshiganj District Jubo Dal Joint Convener Md. Monowar Morshed Masum, Upazila Krishak Dal President Md. Abzal Alamgir, Munshiganj District Volunteer Party Co-Secretary Md. Abu Taher Jiban, along with leaders of the Upazila BNP and all its affiliated organizations.
