World Muslim Cultural Society : Ahmed Salim Reza re-elected President, Mostafizur Rahman Naim Secretary

A new committee for the World Muslim Cultural Society (for the 2026–29 term) has been formed with a pledge to preserve non-discriminatory cultural heritage and foster a social resurgence of harmony.
Ahmad Salim Reza has been re-elected as President, and Mostafizur Rahman Naim has been elected as General Secretary of this 11-member committee.
This committee was formed based on proposals and support from members during the second session of the general meeting held on Saturday at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro. Prof Dr. Abdus Sabur Khan of Dhaka University presided over this session.
Earlier, during the first session of the meeting, the organization's Memorandum of Association was approved; the organization's Convener, Ahmad Selim Reza, presided over that session. Speeches were delivered by poet and TV presenter Asad Kajol, Bengali literature teacher Mirrate Morshed Chishti, media expert AB Siddique, statistician Dr. Amanullah Khan, and journalist Alauddin Bhuiyan. The meeting was moderated by committee member Nasrin Sultana Nitu.
