
Two members of N'ganj teen gang ‘D Company’ arrested with drugs, weapons

In a raid conducted in Fatullah, Narayanganj, RAB-11 arrested two active members of the teen gang ‘D Company’. The arrestees are Bappi (29), son of deceased Imran from Char Kashipur under Fatullah police station, and Md. Imran (30), son of Jahangir from West Masdair.
During the raid, locally made weapons and drugs were recovered from their possession. The seized items include 18 kilograms of marijuana, 101 packets of heroin, 479 yaba tablets, two knives, and two machetes. RAB conducted the raid throughout the night on Wednesday (May 28) at a rented house in the Masdair area and arrested them along with the drugs and weapons.
Lt. Colonel HM Sajjad Hossain, Commanding Officer of RAB-11, stated that members of the ‘D Company’ teen gang have recently been spreading terror in the Fatullah area. They have been involved in a range of criminal activities including weapon showdowns, muggings, extortion, and looting, instilling fear among locals. They are also actively involved in drug abuse and trafficking across various parts of the city.
He further added that the gang used to engage in violent acts in exchange for money and manipulated underage youths into joining the world of crime. RAB’s crackdown against teen gangs will continue with intensified operations.
