Rajbari District Police Superintendent Ms. Shamima Parveen visited  Daulatdia ferry, launch ghat and bus terminal in Rajbari on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr on Saturday. 

She  inspected the Daulatdia Ghat to ensure the smooth movement of ferries, launch services, buses and other vehicles on the Daulatdia-Paturia river route.

During the inspection, she  said, the police administration is working day and night to ensure the smooth movement of people returning home for Eid. During the inspection of Daulatdia Ghat, I saw that there is no traffic jam, no irregularities, no looters, the law and order situation is normal. We are always trying to ensure the smooth journey of those who are going home to celebrate Eid with their families. He also said, there is no opportunity to collect any additional fare this time. The fare that was last year has been fixed this year and has been displayed at every counter. We have conducted a thorough operation against looters. The police station, naval police and joint forces have conducted operations and arrested looters and looters.

During the inspection of the ferry ghat, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Abu Russell, OC  of Goalando Ghat Police Station Md. Rakibul Islam and OC  of District Detective Branch Police DB Mofizul Islam were  present.
