
Eid essentials distributed at Disabled School in Mirzaganj

Eid essentials were distributed among the students of Ekota Multipurpose Disabled School in Mirzaganj Upazila on Saturday.
The event was held in the school's hall room, where Eid essentials were handed out to the students of the school.
A total of 70 disabled students from the school received the Eid essentials.
The event was presided over by the headteacher of Ekota Multipurpose Disabled School, Md. Kawsar Miah.
The chief guest of the event was A.T.M. Mostafizur Rahman, Chairman of Amragachia Union Parishad while special guests included Md. Shafiqul Islam, renowned education enthusiast and social worker Md. Firoz Alam Jewel, Lecturer, Subidkhali Women’s College and journalist Ziaur Rahman, among others.
The event was conducted by Mohammad Jahangir Alam.
It is mentioned that Ekota Multipurpose Disabled School is located in the South Amragachia area of Mirzaganj Upazila, along the Patuakhali-Mirzaganj-Betagi road.
This institution was established in 2016.
Currently, 200 disabled students study at this school free of charge.
Every year, Eid essentials are distributed among the disabled students of this school.
