On March 26, 2025, at No. 2 Haridebpur Union Hallroom, Rangpur Sadar Upazila Press Club Iftar Mahfil was held. The program was presided over by Mr. Mohiuddin Makhdumi, President of Rangpur Sadar Upazila Press Club. Mr. Sharif Md. Farukuzzaman, Additional Superintendent of Police, Rangpur District Police, (a circle) was present as the chief guest at the program. Mr. Advocate Shafi Kamal, Convener Rangpur Sadar Upazila BNP was present as the special guest. Mr. Mawlana Md. Abdul Quader, Secretary Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Rangpur Sadar Upazila. Mr. Mohammad Olive Mahmud, OC, Rangpur Sadar Kotwali Police Station. The chief guest Mr. Sharif Mohammad Farukuzzaman said that he prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls of those who were martyred for the independence of the country. Eid materials were distributed among journalists of Sadar Upazila at the event. Maulana Mohammad Abdul Quader led the prayers at the event.
