Rally, discussion meeting on World Teachers' Day in Goalando

A rally and rally on the occasion of World Teachers' Day 2025 was held in Goalando under the theme "Reinventing Teaching as a Collaborative Profession".
A discussion meeting has been held.
The rally left the upazila premises at 10:30 am on Sunday and ended at the same place after circling the Dhaka-Khulna highway. Later, a discussion was held in the Upazila Parishad meeting room organized by the Upazila-level World Teachers' Day Celebration Committee.
The meeting was presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nahidur Rahman.
The event was moderated by Tayyabur Rahman, Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Teachers Association Goalanda Upazila Branch, and was also attended by Upazila Secondary Education Officer Jayanta Kumar Das, Professor Abul Kalam Azad of Government Goalanda Kamrul Islam College, Assistant Professor Nazir Hossain Molla, Principal of Abdul Halim Mia College Bilkis Akhter, Assistant Headmaster of Goalanda Nazir Uddin Pilot Government High School Md. Mizanur Rahman, President of Bangladesh Teachers Association Goalanda Upazila Branch Md. Rafiqul Islam, General Secretary Muhammad Abul Kashem, Headmasters of various educational institutions in the upazila, other teachers, media personnel, etc.

Teachers are the main architects of nation building. Through their hands, society is illuminated with the light of knowledge, ethics, and humanity. Teachers not only teach, they guide future generations on the right path.
