The Bhola District Unit of the BNP  observed the historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day on Saturday through colorful rallies, discussion meetings, and  Doa Mahfil. 

Concurrently, front and associate organizations of the BNP, along with local educational institutions, district administration, and various public and private bodies, held programs across all seven upazilas, municipalities, and unions of the district to mark the significance of November 7.

The day’s schedule commenced at 6:00 am at the district BNP office with the formal hoisting of the national and party flags to the strains of the national anthem, led by the Convener of District BNP and Administrator of Zila Parishad, Golam Nabi Alamgir.

Later in the morning, a large rally traversed the principal streets of Bhola town. Adorned with banners and festoons, the event drew extensive participation from leaders and activists of the BNP, Jubo Dal, Sechchasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal.

The program was led by BNP Central Member and District BNP Convener Alhaj Golam Nabi Alamgir, alongside Member Secretary Md. Raisul Alam, Senior Joint Convener Shafiur Rahman Kiron, and Joint Conveners Harun or Rashid Truman, Enamul Haque, Humayun Kabir Sopan, Lokman Hossain, Aminul Islam Khan, and Yarul Alam Liton.

Organizational contingents were led by District Jubo Dal President Jamal Uddin Liton and General Secretary Abdul Kader Selim; District Sechchasebak Dal Convener Mizanur Rahman Masud and Member Secretary Muntasir Alam Robin Chowdhury; and District Chhatra Dal President Abdullah Al Russel and General Secretary Nur Mohammad Rubel.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Golam Nabi Alamgir described November 7 as a landmark chapter in Bangladesh's political evolution, initiated through the historic uprising of soldiers and citizens to safeguard national independence, sovereignty, and unity. Paying tribute to late President Ziaur Rahman for his role in preserving national integrity, he urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from his leadership and patriotism.

Similar discussion meetings, rallies, and prayer sessions were reported across Bhola Sadar, Daulatkhan, Borhanuddin, Tazumuddin, Lalmohan, Char Fasson, and Monpura upazilas.
