National Revolution and Solidarity Day observed in Narail

National Revolution and Solidarity Day was observed with due solemnity in Narail. To mark the occasion, a discussion meeting and a cultural program, organized by the district administration, were held on Saturday at 10:30 AM at District Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
Presided over by Additional District Magistrate and Acting Deputy Commissioner Lincoln Biswas, the discussion meeting highlighted the significance of the Day.

Speakers included Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Abdur Rashid, District Education Officer Md. Jamal Uddin, PP of the District and Sessions Judge Court Adv SM Abdul Haque, and Headmaster of Gobra Parbati Vidyapith Md. Abdur Rashid, among others.
Narail Sadar UNO T.M. Rahsin Kabir and officials from various government departments were also present. Following the discussion, artists from the Shilpakala Academy performed music and dance.
The district unit of the BNP organized a discussion meeting and a rally to mark the historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day. The discussion meeting, held at the party office at the town’s central intersection was attended by District BNP President and MP for Narail-1 constituency, Biswas Jahangir Alam, as the chief guest.
Others present included Narail Zila Parishad Administrator and valiant Freedom Fighter Mostafizur Rahman Alek; former Narail Municipality Mayor and BNP leader Md. Zulfikar Ali Mondol; District BNP Organizing Secretary Khandaker Ejazul Hasan Babu; Advocate Mahbub Morshed Japal; Md. Tipu Sultan; Narail Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary Mojahidur Rahman Palash; former District BNP Vice-President Ashok Kundu; former Organizing Secretary Shahriar Rizvi George; Narail City BNP President Md. Telayet Hossain; City BNP General Secretary Khandaker Fasiar Rahman; District Sramik Dal General Secretary Mushfiqur Rahman Bachchu; and Mohila Dal leader Kajol Lata. Following the discussion meeting, a rally paraded through the city's major streets.
