Nadir Hossain Shamim best UNO in Mymensingh Division on birth, death registration performance

Nadir Hossain Shamim, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Madan Upazila in Netrokona has secured first place among the 35 upazilas of Mymensingh Division in public service in birth and death registration activities.
In the same evaluation, Faisal Ahmed, UNO of Haluaghat Upazila in Mymensingh District, secured second place, while Sumon Chowdhury, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Madarganj Upazila in Jamalpur District, secured third place. Based on the performance evaluation for the ongoing month of March 2026, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Madan Upazila achieved divisional excellence by providing the highest level of service to the people in birth and death registration activities.
Madan UNO Nadir Hossain Shamim confirmed the matter on Saturday.
According to UNO office sources, through efficient management to ensure accurate and prompt birth and death registration, Madan Upazila of Netrokona District secured first place, Haluaghat Upazila of Mymensingh District secured second place, and Madarganj Upazila of Jamalpur District secured third place in Mymensingh Division.
UNO Nadir Hossain Shamim said, “This achievement is the result of a collective effort. We are working tirelessly to make the upazila modern and people-friendly. This recognition has increased our responsibilities further.”
