
Matiranga Army Zone engaged in medical care for needy, helpless

Matiranga 18 Field Regiment Artillery Army Zone of Khagrachari has provided free medical care to the needy and helpless hill people of the area under its responsibility.
The free medical camp and medicine were distributed in the Kathal Bagan area of the municipality on Sunday.
The camp program was inaugurated by Matiranga Zone Commander Lt. Col. Ibrahim Adham PSC G.
In addition, Matiranga Zone Medical Officer Major Md. Mueed-ul Karim Chowdhury, AMC, provided free medical care and medicine to 242 hill Bengali men and women.
Matiranga Zone Commander Lt. Col. Ibrahim Adham, PSC, G said, Bangladesh Army has been providing humanitarian assistance in education, medical treatment, communication, and various natural disasters to improve the quality of life of all the backward communities in the hilly areas. This humanitarian activity of the army will continue in the future as well.
