Naogaon Battalion 16 BGB Nitpur BOP patrol team seized three Indian buffaloes without owners at the Porsha border in Naogaon.
On Sunday morning, based on information from SIP, RIB and civil sources, the buffaloes along with the steering vehicle were seized from the Manoharpur paved road, approximately 05 km inside Bangladesh from the border main pillar 229 of Nitpur BOP under the battalion.
The accompanying force led by Patrol Commander Havildar Abdul Rasul conducted an operation and seized 2 medium, 1 small Indian buffaloes and 1 steering vehicle without owners. The estimated value of the seized buffaloes along with the steering vehicle is Tk 11 lakh.
Nitpur BOP Company Commander Subedar Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that the three seized Indian buffaloes and the steering vehicle have been deposited at the customs.
