Kalai Press Club executive committee formed

A 13-member executive committee has been formed for the biennial (2026-2028) executive committee of the Kalai Press Club, a traditional journalist organization in Kalai Upazila of Joypurhat.
The committee was unanimously announced at a general meeting held at the Press Club office on Saturday.
Advocate Nafiutzaman Talukder Dollar (Daily Manabkanth) has been elected as the president, Md. Mizanur Rahman (Mirror News and Daily Bhorer Dak) as the vice-president, and Sajibul Islam Pavel (NTV Online and Daily Rupali Bangladesh) as the general secretary of the newly formed committee.
Other responsible persons of the committee are: Joint General Secretary Abdun Nur Nahid (Daily Amader Somoy), Organizing Secretary Faruk Hossain (Daily Mukta Khabor), Office Secretary Asaduzzaman Nayan (Daily Bhorer Darpan), Publicity and Publication Secretary Tanjir Ahmed Shakib (Daily Sarejmin), Legal Affairs Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique (Daily Pratidiner Sangbad), Sports and Culture Secretary Liton Talukder (Daily Swadesh Bichitra) and Finance Secretary Md. Zahidul Islam (Daily Uttarer Darpan).
In addition, Md. Zahidul Islam (Dhaka Canvas), Abdul Hai (Bangla Edition) and Arman Hossain (Times Today) have been elected as executive members.
