Ex-President Hamid 's brother-in-law is Jamaat's candidate in Kishoreganj

Former President Abdul Hamid's brother-in-law, Colonel (Retd.) Professor Dr. Jihad Khan, has been selected as the possible candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for the Kishoreganj-3 (Karimganj-Tarail) constituency for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Col. (Retd.) Professor Dr. Jihad Khan is a member of the Majlis-e-Shura of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. He is currently working as a cardiologist at Ibn Sina Hospital. Earlier, he was working as the head of the cardiology department at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Dhaka Hospital for a long time. Col. (Retd.) Professor Dr. Jihad Khan is the brother-in-law of former two-time President Abdul Hamid. He is a son of Jafrabad, Karimganj Upazila, Kishoreganj.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Majlish-e-Shura member and Kishoreganj District Jamaat Ameer Professor Md. Ramzan Ali has confirmed the candidacy of Colonel (Retd.) Professor Dr. Jihad Khan. He said that Colonel (Retd.) Professor Dr. Jihad Khan has been selected as the potential candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Kishoreganj-3 (Karimganj-Tarail) constituency for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
