3-day National Fruit Fair begins in Chapainawabganj

The three-day National Fruit Fair 2025 has begun in Chapainawabganj.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdus Samad inaugurated the fair by cutting the ribbon at the Sadar Upazila Parishad premises at 11 am on Sunday.
The fair will continue until next Tuesday.
The fair was attended by Deputy Director of the District Agricultural Extension Department Dr. Md. Yasin Ali, Sadar Upazila Executive
Officer Md. Nurul Islam, Vice President of the Chapainawabganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khairul Islam, prominent industrialist Akbar Hossain and officials from various levels of the administration and local dignitaries.
After the inaugural ceremony, a discussion meeting on fruits was hel in the Upazila Parishad hall. Various types of seasonal and local fruits, including 127 varieties of mangoes, were featured in this year's fruit fair.
The organizers said that the main goal of this event is to raise awareness about fruit cultivation, preservation and marketing and to
promote and expand local fruits. The three-day national fruit fair has been organized in the district by the Chapainawabganj district
administration and the District Agricultural Extension Department.
