7 arrested including one in special drive in Rajshahi city on various charges

In special operations conducted by various police stations and DB police of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) in Rajshahi metropolis, a total of 7 people have been arrested on different charges including 1 person.
In the last 24 hours ending Sunday, special operations were carried out in various places of the metropolis, during which 1 person was arrested on charges of attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, carrying out explosions, and terrorist activities. In addition, 6 others were arrested on various charges, among whom 3 were warrant-listed and 3 in drug cases.
In the special operation, arrested was Md. Mainul Islam Swapan (70), son of late Mahiuddin Mia of Chorokhair area under Tanore Police Station of Rajshahi district. He is the former president of Tanore Thana Awami League.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police.
