DU Pali and Buddhist Studies Depat freshers, farewell reception held

The freshers and Farewell Reception Ceremony of the Pali and Buddhist Studies Department of Dhaka University was held on Monday at the Student-Teacher Center Auditorium.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed was present as the chief guest at the event.
Chaired by the department chairperson Dr. Neeru Baro, the event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan as the special guest.
Department teachers and Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University Professor Dr. Dilip Kumar Baro, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Rabindra University Professor Dr. Suman Kanti Baro, Professor Dr. Sukomal Baro and Vice-President of Bangladesh Buddhist Culture Promotion Association Dr. Mridul Baroya Chowdhury was felicitated at the event.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Edn) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed extended his warmest greetings to the new students and wished the outgoing students success in their future lives. He said that students should achieve success in their workplaces and work for the welfare of the country and nation by upholding the dignity and image of Dhaka University.
