Bangladesh Young Columnists Forum, DU Unit ' Newcomer, writing exhibition held

Bangladesh Young Columnists Forum Dhaka University Branch's 'Newcomer and Writing Exhibition' was held on Wednesday at TSC Auditorium.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan was present as the chief guest at the event.
Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed, Acting Chairman of the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, Dr. Muhammad Sajjad Hossain Siddiqui, Fact Check Editor of France-based organization AFP, Kadruddin Shishir, President of Bangladesh Young Columnists Forum, Amjad Hossain Hridoy, and General Secretary Imran Uddin spoke as special guests at the event presided over by Tahmina Akhter, President of Bangladesh Young Columnists Forum, Dhaka University Branch. The Chief Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam was present as the main discussant at the event. Bangladesh Young Columnist Forum Dhaka University Branch General Secretary Md. Abdur Rahim conducted the event.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan said that writers portray different images of society through writing. Through writing, the world of creative thinking expands and linguistic skills increase. Along with this, reputation and recognition are also gained at the domestic and international levels
Earlier in the morning, the university's treasurer Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury inaugurated the 'Writing Exhibition' at the Student-Teacher Center as the chief guest. This exhibition was organized with the selected writings of young writers.
