A discussion meeting and Islamic cultural competition was held on the occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladun Nabi at Nalchira Secondary School of Gournadi Upazila of Barisal.

Gournadi Upazila Executive Officer Mr. Md. Ibrahim was present as the chief guest in the event. Alhaj Hafez Mufti Md Saiful Islam, Finance Secretary, Business Department, Barisal District was present as the main speaker.

Md. Alam Hossain, head teacher of Nalcira Secondary School, presided over the event. At that time, the assistant head teacher, assistant teachers were present.

The program was conducted by the assistant teachers of the school Mojibur Rahman and Mahfuzur Rahman.

Also present were the school's managing committee member Md. Jewel Howlader, former member Md. Riad Hossain Swapan, Md. Salim Gazi, Al Mamun Swapan and other members of the managing committee.

More than three hundred students of the school spontaneously participated in the event. In the discussion meeting, the main speaker Alhaj Hafez Mufti Md. Saiful Islam highlighted various aspects of the holy life, ideals, character and humanity of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

He said, following the ideals of Rasoolullah (SAW) by clinging to the Quran and Sunnah, the path of success is smooth for a believer. He urged to follow the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in every aspect of life and conduct life according to the instructions of the Quran.

Later the participation of students in the Islamic cultural competition made the program more lively. Organized with the aim of spreading Islamic values, morals and the ideals of the PBUH among the students, the program was completed in a beautiful and orderly environment.
