Eid -e-Miladunnabi celebrated in Bandarban

Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) was celebrated with religious solemnity and festive atmosphere in Bandarban.
On Wednesday morning, a colourful procession was taken out from the city's central Eidgah ground organized by the Gaushia Committee Bangladesh, Bandarban district branch. The procession circled the main roads of the city and ended at the Bandarban Mukta Mancha. Later, a discussion meeting and prayer mahfil were held there on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).
Professor Osman Gani, joint convener of the district BNP and editor of the daily Sachitra Maitree, was present as the chief guest at the event.
Also present at the event were Gaushia Committee Bangladesh, Bandarban District Branch President Ashab Uddin Chowdhury, General Secretary Tamiz Uddin Chowdhury, and Jashane Julus Celebration Committee Convener Nurul Islam, along with Gaushia Committee leaders and people from different walks of life.
The speakers at the discussion said that peace, harmony and brotherhood should be established in the society by following the ideals of the Holy PBUH . They called upon everyone to lead their lives on the path shown by him and work together for the welfare of the country and the nation.
