To enhance the quality of education, Sadipur High School, a traditional educational institution in Aliabad Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila — organized a parents’ discussion meeting for the third time.
The meeting was held at the historic Sadipur High School premises recently . Over a hundred parents, teachers, and members of the school’s managing committee attended the event
The discussion meeting on “Improving the Quality of Education” was presided over by the President of the School Managing Committee, Abul Bashar Mridha. Among others, speakers included Mahbub Hossain Pial, General Secretary of Faridpur Press Club; ASI Md. Monirul Islam of Faridpur Kotwali Police Station; Shamisul Alam Babul, Founder of Jahura Giasuddin Junior High School; Masud Rana, Vice President of the Union BNP; Adel Uddin Sheikh; Humayun Mridha, Principal of Lotus Kindergarten School; Jamal Member, UP Member; Humayun Kabir, President of Ward No. 3 BNP; Hashem Khan, President of Ward No. 2 BNP; and social worker Nuruddin Munshi, along with several parents of students.
In his speech to the parents, School Managing Committee President Abul Bashar Mridha said, prents are the greatest teachers of their children. From waking up in the morning until going to bed at night, if you maintain close supervision, no child can go astray.
The guests at the meeting emphasized that parents’ responsibility does not end after sending their children to school.
After hearing the opinions and concerns of parents and teachers, Abul Bashar Mridha assured everyone that any problems or shortcomings identified would be resolved promptly.
The program was conducted by Mohammad Abdul Awal Mia, a teacher of Sadipur High School.
