Shekar Foundation press conference demanding Dhaka-Pabna train service

An organization working for the development of Pabna, Shekar Pabna Foundation, has warned of a sit-in program in front of the Dhaka Rail Bhaban if the announcement of the launch of a direct
train service between Dhaka and Pabna is not made by December.
The organization's President, Khan Habib Mustafa, gave the warning at a press conference at the Pabna Press Club Auditorium at 11:30 am on Saturday.
Khan Habib Mostafa said at the press conference, "Although it is an old district, Pabna has always been neglected. The Pabna Foundation has been talking about them for a long time. It has carried out various programs to quickly implement four demands, including the launch of a direct Dhaka-Pabna rail. But these demands have not been implemented yet. We believe that there is a conspiracy behind this. We want to warn those conspirators. At the same time, I would like to say that if the announcement of the launch of a direct Dhaka-Pabna rail is not made by next December, the people of Pabna will take a stand in front of the Rail Bhaban if necessary."
He said, "The Honorable President of the country is a son of Pabna."
He came to Pabna and announced the launch of the Dhaka-Pabna train. But it has not been implemented even today, throwing it into dirty politics. Through this, the highest constitutional position of Bangladesh has been disrespected. Even now, the implementation of this train service is being delayed by that dirty politics. On the night of October 3, two secretaries of the Road and Railway Ministry came to inspect the project to shift the Kazirhat ferry to Khayerchar. We do not understand what they inspected at night. Again, there was ambiguity in the statement of the Railway Secretary about the launch of the train. We are concerned about these.
In addition, at the press conference, a strong demand was made for the speedy implementation of four demands, including the opening of Ishwardi Airport, the relocation of Kazirhat Ferry Ghat to Khayerchar, and the widening of the main road in Pabna city, among the sixteen development visions for Pabna.
