Decision to identify female teachers, officers, employees, female students wearing niqab, hijab at DU

Keeping in mind personal freedom and privacy, a decision has been taken to identify female teachers/female officers/female employees of Dhaka University wearing niqab and hijab.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the Deans' Committee held in the Vice-Chancellor's meeting on Thursday . Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan presided over the meeting.
As per the decision of the meeting, the assistance of female assistant proctors will be taken if necessary to identify the students. The feasibility of introducing fingerprinting or biometric system for identity identification will be verified in due course.
