12 arrested on other charges, including two in Operation Devil Hunt in Rajshahi

A total of 12 people have been arrested in a joint force operation in Rajshahi metropolis, including two n Operation Devil Hunt, conducted by Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) police station and DB police.
Like the rest of the country, 'Operation Devil Hunt' has been conducted to prevent instability in Rajshahi metropolis. In the last 24 hours, 2 people have been arrested on charges of attacking the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions, terrorist activities and other crimes. In addition, 10 people have been arrested in the RMP operation, of which 5 are under warrants, 2 in drug cases and 3 in other crimes.
Those arrested in Operation Devil Hunt are Md. Mahidul Islam alias Wasti (24) and Md. Bichhad (50). Mahidul Islam is the son of Abdul Mannan of Bajrapur area of Paba police station in Rajshahi metropolis. He is the former organizing secretary of Parila Union's Chhatra League. Awami League activist Bichhad is the son of the late Soleman of Kedeur More area of Boalia police station.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused.
