IU appoints new acting registrar

The Authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has appointed a new registrar Dr. Md. Manzurul Haque, Professor of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE).
This was informed through an office order signed by IU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nakib Mohammed Nasrullah, on Wednesday.
According to an office order, H. M. Ali Hasan has been released from his position as Acting Registrar from the afternoon of March 5. He will return to his original position as Deputy Director.
The newly appointed Acting Registrar, Dr. Md. Manzurul Haque, said, ‘In my 26 years of teaching, I never thought about position or designation. My true love has always been my classroom and my students. Our honorable vice-chancellor, Sir, has trusted me and given me this position with great love. I will try my best to do my duty with honesty and sincerity.’
