Death of a lawyer in Ctg : Protest meeting held in Jhalakathi

A protest protest meeting was held in Jhalakathi in connection with the killing of lawyer Saiful Islam alias Alif in a clash in Chittagong. A protest march and protest meeting was organized by the Jhalakathi District Lawyers Association on Wednesday afternoon.
District Lawyers Association President, District BNP Member Secretary Advocate Shahadat Hossain spoke at the protest meeting, District BNP convener GP Advocate Syed Hossain, District Jamaat Ameer Advocate Hafizur Rahman, District Lawyers Association General Secretary Advocate Maheb Hossain addressed the protest meeting.
At this time, the speakers said that those who want to start communal riots in the country should be suppressed with strong hands. Since the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, extremists have attacked mosques in Chittagong, killing lawyers. If someone wants to create communal riots in this country, want to establish Mujibism, the people of this country will resist them. Extremist organization ISKCON should be banned immediately.
After the protest meeting, a protest procession came out from the Jhalkathi District Lawyers Association premises and patrolled the various roads of the city.
Lawyer Saiful Islam (35) was killed in Chittagong on Tuesday during a clash with law enforcement forces and lawyers with the followers of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilit Sanatani Jagran Jot. He was working as an Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP)
