Body of unidentified youth recovered in Baraigram

Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth (28) from the Gormati area of Baraigram upazila of Natore on the Rajshahi-Pabna highway at around 5 pm on Wednesday.
At the time of recovery, he was wearing a check lungi and a pair of sandals on his feet, a ganji and a shirt on his body. He was somewhat light-skinned and thin man. There was a cloth bag next to the body. In which there were sweater and pants.
Locals Azgar Ali and Joynal Hossain said that a rickshaw puller saw the body on the edge of the rice field on the east side of the highway at around 3 pm on Wednesday and shouted. On hearing his shouting, locals came forward and kept the body in an empty space on the west side of the road so that the rice spread in the rice field would not be spoiled by the crowd.
Officer-in-charge of Baraigram Police Station Md Sirajul Islam said that the body of an unidentified youth was recovered from the spot.
Preparations are underway to send the body to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
