Meeting held in memory who injured, killed in students uprising in Goalando

A commemoration meeting was held in memory of the martyrs in the July-August mass uprising of the student population at Goalando in Rajbari.
On Wednesday at around 11 o'clock, the upazila administration organized the commemoration meeting at the upazila parishad hall.
At the beginning of the commemoration, the program was started with 1 minute silence and Quran recitation in memory of the martyrs.
Among the 8 people injured in Dhaka and Goalando in the movement, 4 injured children were present. They are Anisur Rahman, Amir Hamza, Rahat Khan, Russell Mollah.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Joti Bikas Chandra presided over and Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Md. Under the direction of Asaduzzaman, Goalando Ghat police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Rakibul Islam, Goalando upazila health complex consultant Pradip Kumar Pal, upazila secondary education officer Md. Masudur Rahman, upazila social service officer. Ruhul Amin along with students, representatives etc.
At the end of the memorial service, Imam Mufti Azam Ahmad of Upazila Model Mosque conducted prayers in memory of the martyrs who were killed and injured in the July-August uprising of students.
