Cultural Ministry hosts meeting on university-level competitions for Nazrul Year

A coordination meeting regarding the organization of university-level cultural competitions as part of the nationwide "Nazrul Year" celebrations was held at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs conference room in the Bangladesh Secretariat on Thursday.
Presided over by Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, MP, the meeting commenced at 12:00 PM on Thursday to outline the framework for institutional cultural events aimed at promoting the ideals of the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam among university students.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs Ali Nawaz Mahmud Khayam, MP, and Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs Yasmin Begum were present at the meeting alongside vice-chancellors from public and private universities located in Dhaka. Vice-chancellors from universities outside the capital also participated virtually via Zoom to share their recommendations.
During the discussion, participants examined strategies to organize inclusive and standardized cultural competitions across higher education institutions nationwide, focusing on propagating Nazrul's core messages of humanity and equity.
