Daily Yuger Alo celebrates 34 years of glory in Dinajpur

The 34th founding anniversary festival-2026 of the northern region's most widely circulated daily "Dainik Juger Alo" was celebrated with great pomp.
The festival was inaugurated by cutting a cake at the office of Journalists Union Dinajpur (JUD) at Majeda Manzil in Maldahapatti, Dinajpur city on Thursday afternoon.
Dinajpur Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Abdul Halim was present as the chief guest at the event. He inaugurated the event by feeding the journalist a cake.
Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director and IDEB Dinajpur General Secretary Manjur Morshed Sumon, Dinajpur Journalists Union President Mofachhilul Majed, and Dinajpur District Correspondent of Dainik Juger Alo Mahidul Islam Ripon were present as special guests at the event presided over by Md. Wahedur Rahman.
The speakers said that the daily Juger Alo, under the leadership of founder Rahim Uddin Bhorsa and publisher-editor Momtaz Shirin Bhorsa, has been working for truth and humanity for 34 years. They expressed hope that objective journalism will continue in the future as well.
Journalists from various print, electronic and online media in the district were present at the event.
